AFRICAN PRE-CHRISTMAS MARKET
(baskets, batiks, statuettes, toys, candles and a lot of trivias directly from Zimbabwe, Morocco, Rwanda, Uganda and Ghana),
held on December 22, 2018 in Cernochov, in the Imbr's House, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
A small refreshment is ensured, the proceeds go to support the Tengenenge children's school attendance.

On November 24 and 25, 2018, Dr. Marie Imbrova will be in Prague at THE TRAVEL FESTIVAL AROUND THE WORLD.
On Saturday, November 24, 2018, from 11:30 to 12:30 a.m., she will have a lecture in the Hotel Hall 5 Taurus "ZIMBABWE - THE BIG CHALLENGE" (more information here) and otherwise throughout the whole festival she will also have a stand with baskets and African artifacts for sale in favor of the Tengenenge Friends Club in the Czech Republic

Dr. Marie Imbrova,

will lecture about the current Zimbabwe, its beauties and living conditions.
The lecture will be accompanied by small statues and other small craft products from Africa.
The admission is voluntary - will be used to pay tuition fees of children in Tengenenge.

We cordially invite you to an African afternoon in our gallery & coffee. Already in the afternoon, Zimbabwean sculptor Mrs. Maudy Muhoni will create small sculptures in the passage in front of the coffee shop, which you can even buy on the spot. Mrs. Maudy Muhoni visited our country already for the fifth time this year, she spent the entire summer sculpturing and organizing workshops at the Dvur Kralove Zoological Garden.
A part of the afternoon will be the vernissage of photographs of the Czech photographer living long-term in Germany, Mrs Jana Sandner, who photographed during her last year's visit in the Tengenenge sculpture community mainly children of sculptors in their everyday life.
And if you would like to buy some original gifts, there will be available African jewels from the Marie Imbrova's collection and other fine crafts from different corners of Africa. Also there will not miss a delicious Ethiopian coffee and South African wines. So stop yourself for at least one afternoon to breathe the atmosphere of Africa.

On August 31, 2018, Dr. Marie Imbrova ended her work as the Director of the Cultural Facilities of Roudnice nad Labem. In the coming months, she will focus on her African projects, lectures and cataloging of her collection of African jewels.
